Igeekphone reported on April 14th that Xiaomi has announced that its REDMI K90 Max phone is equipped with an 8550mAh large-capacity battery and supports direct power supply from the motherboard.
It is introduced that this mobile phone supports 100W wired fast charging + 22.5W wired reverse charging, is compatible with the 100W PPS universal fast charging protocol, and claims to “charge while playing without getting hot”.

According to an earlier report by Igeekphone, a new Xiaomi device with the model number 2604FRK1EC recently appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database. The single-core score of version 6.6.0 was 3513 points, and the multi-core score was 10711 points. Based on the previous GSMA IMEI database information, this model is associated with the Xiaomi REDMI K90 Max phone.
In terms of specifications, this device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, 16GB of RAM, and runs the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 system based on Android 16.

The REDMI K90 Max is Xiaomi’s first phone with an in-built fan for cooling. It features an independent sealed air duct and a full-metal bearing structure. It supports IP66/IP68/IP69 overall dust and water resistance, has passed a 50,000-hour aging test, and comes with a 6-year fan warranty and lifetime cleaning maintenance. It was released on April 21st.
