Igeekphone September 19 news, Xiaomi officially announced that Redmi Note 13 Pro+ mobile phones support IP68 dust and waterproof, which is the first time Redmi Note series mobile phones introduced this level of protection.
Blogger @digital chat station revealed that the extra hole on the top of Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is the pressure relief valve, which is used for IP68 dust and waterproof.
Lu Weibing, partner and president of Xiaomi Group, president of International Division and general manager of Redmi brand, released a long message saying that Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has made three improvements to IP68, including redoing the structural stack, strengthening the internal skeleton, and opening a new detection line.

The Redmi Note13 Pro+ is powered by Mediatek Teguet 7200 Ultra processor, which has an eight-core CPU architecture and is built based on TSMC’s 4nm process, with two ARM Cortex A715 cores at 2.8GHz. The six Cortex A510 cores are at 2GHz and equipped with Mali-G610 Gpus.
In addition, the new phone comes pre-loaded with Android 13 and offers up to 16GB of RAM. The phone scored 1,122 in Geekbench’s single-core test and 2,636 in the multicore test.
