Igeekphone reported on April 1st: Before its release on April 2nd, Xiaomi India officially announced the REDMI Note 15 5G Special Edition, revealing the appearance design and core specifications of this new device in advance.
Compared to the standard version that will be launched in December 2025, the special edition offers users a differentiated experience. It mainly upgrades the camera, battery and body material. Currently, the only remaining uncertainty is the price.

In terms of color, the REDMI Note 15 5G Special Edition introduces three brand-new custom designs. The crimson color features a leather-like back panel combined with a gold frame, with a thickness of 7.82 millimeters; the carbon black color focuses on extreme lightness and thinness, with a thickness of only 7.35 millimeters; the frost white color has a thickness of 7.4 millimeters.

In terms of imaging, the REDMI Note 15 5G Special Edition replaces the standard version’s 100-megapixel camera with a 50-megapixel high-quality main camera, focusing on addressing the video shortcomings and adding 4K ultra-high-definition recording and dynamic snapshot functions.

In terms of battery life, the special edition is equipped with a 5800 mAh capacity battery. Compared to the 5520 mAh battery of the standard version, the single charging duration of this new model has increased from 38 hours to over 44 hours.
In terms of chips, REDMI Note 15 5G Special Edition continues to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6th 3rd generation mobile platform, promising to provide users with a smooth and uninterrupted experience for up to 48 months.
