On November 29, Redmi is hosting a press conference to officially launch the K70 series, where they will unveil numerous blockbuster products. Among them is Xiaomi’s inaugural high-end built-in refrigerator, the Mijia Refrigerator Cross 518L ultra-thin flat built-in.
The official announcement for the K70 release meeting highlights Xiaomi’s introduction of the Mijia Refrigerator Cross 518L. The product, as depicted in the official poster, employs thin-wall technology to achieve a more compact footprint and increased capacity. Featuring a front-mounted heat dissipation design at the bottom, the refrigerator’s side margins can snugly fit against the cabinet, seamlessly integrating with the overall home decoration.
Notably, Xiaomi had previously launched a similar product, the “Mijia Refrigerator Cross 521L,” at the Xiaomi Mi 14 launch conference. This refrigerator, also designed for embedding with an anklet structure, supports a 90-degree right-angle door opening, ensuring no interference with cabinets or walls.
The Mijia Refrigerator Cross 521L, released earlier, has features such as air-cooling technology, three-level temperature adjustment for both mothers and babies, independent control of dry and wet conditions, silver ion antibacterial and deodorizing capabilities, as well as remote control through the Mijia APP.
Anticipated for the upcoming model is the continuation of these technological features, coupled with an enhanced appearance characterized by a more textured front panel design. The configuration is expected to receive further improvements, reflecting the product’s positioning as a high-end built-in refrigerator. As officially promoted, the price is expected to surpass the previous 3,499 yuan, likely landing around 5,000 yuan.
