The head of Xiaomi in India, Manu Kumar Jain, revealed that the company is working with Qualcomm to launch a new smartphone with Snapdragon 730 or 730g. The information was released on Twitter after the executive met with representatives of the chip maker in the country.
In addition, Jain also gave a deadline for the arrival of the new appliance on the market: two weeks. So, apparently, this mysterious smartphone is ready to be made official, and last week we showed a rumor about the launch of a Redmi with Snapdragon 730.

Now, for those who do not remember, Qualcomm recently announced its Snapdragon 665, 730 and 730G intermediate processors. They bring out as a highlight a series of camera enhancements, support for Artificial Intelligence and better performance in heavy games.
These Snapdragon 730 and 730G processors have contained eight Kryo 470 cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.2 GHz and a Snapdragon X15 LTE cellular modem with download speeds of up to 800 Mbps. The graphics subsystem uses the Adreno 618 controller. Moreover, with the Snapdragon 730G chip, the GPU block has a 15% higher performance compared to the standard Snapdragon 730 version.
So far, Xiaomi has not provided any new details on the name of the smartphone it plans to launch. Anyway, based on the latest rumor, the device must bring Snapdragon 730 allied to a battery of 4000mAh and three rear cameras: 48MP + 8MP + 13MP.
For now, it is still not possible to know if the device belongs to the Redmi line or even Mi. In addition, the device can be launched first in China. With this, some analysts speculate that we may be talking about a supposed Mi A3.
However, this information can only be confirmed when Xiaomi resolves to speak on the matter officially. It is worth remembering that the company presented, last Wednesday on April 24, the new Redmi 7 and Y3 to the Indian market.
