After the announcement of Yi Erida in September 2016, not so much effort was made by Yi Technology to enter the unmanned aerial vehicles market. Recently, the network has several sketches and photos of the new drone – Yi Pixie. He will be able to shoot 13MP photos and 4K videos.
Judging by its appearance, this drone is somewhere between DJI Tello and DJI Spark. However, as we have already said, Pixie can shoot 4K video, which distinguishes it from those named before this drones. True, the Yi drone either does not have a gimbal suspension for the camera, or it is somehow hidden beneath the hull. The device will be equipped with automated functions for take-off, landing, return home, turn around a subject, recognize and follow a person’s face, present infrared sensors at the front to recognize and avoid obstacles, and finally estimated flight time it will be about 20 minutes.
Also at our disposal was the image of the mobile application interface for managing the drones. Proceeding from it, it is clear that the drone’s camera will be able to shoot FullHD video in both 30 and 60 fps. 4K is only removed in 30 fps. You can be sure that the control of the drone will be fully implemented with the help of a smartphone. At the moment we do not have any other information about this gadget.
