ZTE, one of the leading names in the smartphone industry which is making a lot of effort to meet the new trends in the global smartphone market. Not so long ago, ZTE issued a patent for a smartphone with a dual front-facing camera, and now it has become known about the registration of rights to manufacture a full-fledged slider.
It should be noted that the design of the smartphone ZTE does not have any innovative solutions since the slider smartphones were produced by many major manufacturers. The only difference that makes the device stand out against many analogs in the presence of a dual front camera.
Another patent sketches demonstrate the presence of a dual-camera and a fingerprint scanner on the back, which is also located on the back surface of the case. It can be said that this slider is mainly aimed at giving users a large display surface with smaller sizes of the gadget itself.
The design provides a 3.5-mm jack for connecting a headset, as well as a USB Type-C interface for charging the device. On the left side, you will enter the SIM card.
It seems that ZTE is trying to catch up with other Chinese manufacturers, without resorting to any innovative solutions. This patent indicates that the company is significantly lagging behind in its developments since some Chinese manufacturers clearly demonstrate that they have already overcome this level. The new model will be primarily intended for the Asian market – so far they are leaking.
However, the patent does not mean commercial use at all. Microsoft and his Andromeda can say the most about it. We are waiting for the practical application of the ZTE project and probably details about the subject will be revealed in the coming days. Let’s hope we’ll see it as soon as possible.
