Samsung Galaxy Flex Exposure: Will Be Equipped With Exclusive Game Buttons

The foldable screen phone is undoubtedly the keyword for the next smartphone. Recently, it has been reported that the machine may adopt a novel shape design – equipped with a flexible screen and exclusive game buttons.

Recently, the Dutch website LetsGoDigital shared several 3D renderings. It is based on Samsung’s “display device” design patents submitted to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) at the end of 2017.

The patent was released on January 29, 2019, and featured a series of images of a collapsible Samsung smartphone. When folded, the display will open externally – similar to earlier Huawei, Motorola, and Intel related designs.

The difference is that Samsung offers some special features for its flexible display. For example, after folding, you can bend a small part of the screen to display exclusive game buttons – similar to the left D-pad button of the Nintendo game console/handheld.

In addition, six smaller buttons are available on the right side. In addition to the game, you can use it for other purposes. Obviously, this is a fairly creative solution that eliminates the hassle of connecting the physical handles before starting the game.

Samsung is likely to launch a folding screen smartphone during the Galaxy Unpacked 2019 launch next month. Even if it is not exactly the same as the description of the patent, “Galaxy Fold” is still quite worth looking forward to.

It is reported that it is equipped with a 4.6-inch display and can be supplied to a 7.3-inch AMOLED display area. Technically speaking, the folding inner screen is more difficult than the folded outer screen.
