After several rumors that Xiaomi would be working on a new line of smartphones, the brand exhibited the first teaser of the CC9 series confirming not only its existence but also the fact that the devices are being produced by a Chinese manufacturer that stands out for cameras and was acquired by Xiaomi in 2018.
The new teaser was unveiled today and highlights just a light fabric Fluttering with a crown in the center, with the above revealing the possible issues “Little Fairy” and “Little Prince”, in addition to strengthening the release date for July 2.
In addition to this teaser, the company revealed other images that highlight the lyrics of the new line, displaying phrases like “Chic and Cool”, “Charming and Cute” and “Clever and Crazy” ). Obviously, the directions of propaganda to give focus to the “CC” do not work with the literal translation.
So far rumors have indicated that while the CC9e will be the cheapest and most affordable version of the pair but still offering state-of-the-art hardware with three rear cameras, Xiaomi should bet even more on the CC9 by offering a revolving camera module similar to Zenfone 6.
While this makes full sense to follow the legacy of Meitu, since excellent sensors for the rear camera would also serve as an amazing quality front camera, other rumors suggest that the device should also follow the CC9e with the front camera notch.
