Today is the anniversary of MIUI, the system layer that runs under Android on the smartphones of our favorite manufacturer. 9 years ago such a day as today Xiaomi publicly presented its personalization layer which has been evolving day after day under the different ROMs that the manufacturer has been installing on its smartphones.
This is how MIUI has become one of the best personalization layers installed on Google’s Android system. Thanks to this system Xiaomi has managed to be a sales leader since MIUI arrives installed in most of its smartphones.
After these 9 years, Xiaomi has developed 10 layers of customization with different improvements that have evolved functions of our smartphone. Now the company has started releasing some information about its next version, MIUI 11.
Xiaomi has begun to draw two tickets for the presentation of MIUI 11 on the Weibo social network. The draw will end on September 5 so we can deduce that Xiaomi will present MIUI 11 in mid-September and would do it accompanied by the Mi Mix 4 as all the rumors point.
Xiaomi would be finalizing all the details of this new version that will be the successor of the work done with MIUI 10. The company has said that more than 200 developers have been working for 3 months in this new version, so we hope to see many new features from the manufacturer. It is expected that the company will soon reveal the fixed date on which we will see the new update of the MIUI layer.
