Not long ago, Lenovo released a poster revealing the company’s next-generation gaming phone, expected to be called the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro. Before the launch, this phone appeared on Geekbench, giving us an overview of the performance power of the device.
According to data from Geekbench benchmarking platform, With model number L70081, the Lenovo gamer phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 888, the same chipset equipped in virtually all line tops of 2021, accompanied by no less than 16GB of RAM, slightly less than the 18GB found on rival ROG Phone 5.
The combination of respect is capable of scoring 1130 points in single-core and 3779 points in multi-core, numbers curiously lower than those achieved by Xiaomi Mi 11, also equipped with Qualcomm’s high-end chip.
Another very welcome point confirmed by the test is the presence of Android 11, which should have the company’s customized interface. The fact that the device is already being tested is a strong indication that its launch is near. To date, Lenovo has yet to reveal a specific date for the Legion 2 Pro’s debut but has confirmed the device’s name and the presence of a fuller cooling system along the lines of the Nubia Magic family.
With the exception of active cooling with fans, few details about the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro was released, but looking at its predecessor can give us hints of what to expect. The Legion Phone Duel brings 865+ Snapdragon, front camera pop-up on the side screen of 6.55 inches AMOLED, resolution Full HD + and 144 Hz refresh rate, and battery generous 5000mAh fast loading with 90W and a dual camera with 64 MP main sensor. The expectation is that Lenovo will bring improvements in practically all aspects, with performance being one of its priorities.
