In 2017, Xiaomi released the first surging chip with the theme of “My Core Surging”-Surging S1, which is mainly used in smartphones, but soon there will be no more information. Mi Fan has been waiting for the surging chip to follow up, and now Surging C1 is here.
Unlike Surging S1, Surging C1 is an ISP chip, which is also an independent mobile phone imaging chip. It uses self-developed ISP + self-developed algorithms to help mobile phones perform more sophisticated and advanced 3A processing.
This 3A refers to AF focusing, AWB white balance and AE automatic exposure. The surging C1 with dual filters can achieve parallel processing of high and low-frequency signals, signal processing efficiency is increased by 100%, and 3A performance is greatly improved.
The Xiaomi Surging C1 was first released on Xiaomi’s MIX FOLD folding screen mobile phone, and it is expected that more mobile phones will use this chip in the future.
