In addition to the 88″ W92 8K OLED TV, Skyworth has also introduced the Skyworth W82 TV. The brand is known as being the second manufacturer in the world with the ability to make OLED modules (OBM). This new TV comes in 65 inches and will be available in Mainland China at RMB 29,999 (approximately $4575) starting from May 2021.
In detail, Skyworth W82 TV is the first OLED anamorphic TV launched by Skyworth. Its design concept is derived from the moon. Its flexible OLED screen is equipped with 1000R flexure intelligent adjustment viewing distance function, which can be viewed from 3.5 meters according to the best viewing distance. Intelligently adjust the curvature to 1 meter, and provide the best viewing curvature of 2000R in movie viewing mode and the best game curvature of 1500R in game mode.
In terms of appearance, the rear shell of the Skyworth W82 TV adopts a fish-scale telescopic design, which solves the problem of displacement between the rear shell and the screen body when it is bent and deformed so that the entire screen body can be stretched and retracted freely. It uses a total of 37 fish scales for splicing, and the size accuracy of each fish scale is controlled within +/-0.05mm to achieve the most ideal splicing state.
Due to the use of austenitic stainless steel flattening mechanism with good corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, and bending performance, and a specially designed multi-stage low-noise reduction box with self-locking function, it not only has strong kinetic energy during deformation but also has low noise and the characteristics of precision. It is understood that Skyworth W82 can be used more than 20,000 times in normal deformation and has a life span of more than 10 years.
