According to recent information from multiple sources, the first batch of Snapdragon 898 flagship new phones from domestic manufacturers have been basically finalized and are ready to launch.
In line with past practice, the launch should be xiaomi’s new digital flagship, which debut as early as the middle of next month.
Recently, some netizens posted a set of homemade renderings, which seem to have been made at a very low cost. Basically, it’s MIX 4 with a new color scheme and a center punch.
However, based on all the leaks so far, the mi 12 is likely to end up looking very similar to this design, with a two-sided microcurved screen on the front, similar to the MIX 4, and a narrower bezel thanks to next-generation packaging.
As for the back design, the mi 12 standard is still expected to have a three-camera scheme, but sources say the sensor will be a significant upgrade, and that the arrangement of the previous model may not be applicable anymore, with a similar scheme likely to be adopted for MI MIX 4.
What’s more, many Xiaomi users now find the MIX 4’s rear-view styling more aesthetically pleasing.
On the whole, mi 12 will absorb users’ comments on mi 11 this year in terms of appearance. It has basically improved the pain points and is a comprehensively enhanced model.
