Today, Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo’s mobile phone business in China, announced that the new moto X40 series will officially launch on December 15.
As previously announced, moto X40 will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 uses a 1+2+2+3 architecture that includes a 3.2GHz Cortex-X3-based Kryo super-core, four 2.8GHz performance cores and three 2.0GHz Cortex-A510 energy efficiency cores.
In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, moto X40 series will have a 6.67-inch OLED screen, a 4950/4450mAh battery and 68W fast charge.
For photography, it has a rear triple lens, a 50-megapixel outfield main, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle and a 12-megapixel portrait lens.

It should come as no surprise that moto X40 series will continue its previous “price butcher” approach, giving users a flagship product that is highly cost-effective.
