Igeekphone News, September 1st: Samsung has recently launched a new 37-inch version of the ViewFinity S8 monitor, positioned between the existing 32-inch and 43-inch models, and specifically designed to provide solutions for modern office scenarios. The ViewFinity S8 (S80UD) monitor is the world’s first 37-inch, 16:9 display with 4K ultra-high-definition resolution, specifically designed for productivity and work.
According to Igeekphone, this monitor has passed the “Ergonomic Office Monitor” certification of German TUV Rheinland. Its special design can effectively relieve visual fatigue under high-intensity office work. Combined with the “intelligent eye protection” function – by reducing blue light output and screen flicker, it further reduces eye discomfort. This monitor features a VA panel and a 60Hz refresh rate, so it is not suitable for gaming.

The 37-inch large screen design is particularly friendly to video editing work: editors can more clearly distinguish the details of the picture, and the wider display space supports multiple material videos and folder Windows to be opened in parallel, without the need to frequently switch pages.
The newly launched Samsung ViewFinity S8 37-inch model has achieved a global first: the diagonal length of its screen reaches 92.7 centimeters, making it the first 37-inch monitor specifically designed for office scenarios. The 16:9 golden ratio design can better adapt to the interfaces of various office software, avoiding problems such as picture stretching or excessive white space.
Compared with the 32-inch version, the 37-inch version adds an extra 5 inches of display space while maintaining the 4K ultra-high-definition resolution. This improvement directly translates into an optimization of the reading experience – under the same display Settings, the text font will automatically present a larger size, and the details will be more recognizable, reducing the visual pressure of long-term reading.

The 37-inch wide screen can directly replace the traditional dual-screen splicing solution: users do not need to purchase an additional second monitor to display multiple Windows simultaneously on a single screen, completely eliminating the trouble of frequently switching between different applications.
The monitor is equipped with a built-in KVM switch, supporting one set of keyboard and mouse to control two devices simultaneously. It is equipped with both “Picture-by-Picture” and “Picture-in-Picture” modes simultaneously, further enhancing the multi-task processing capability. For instance, users can connect their laptops and smartphones simultaneously. The screens of the two devices will be displayed in independent Windows respectively, and the operations will not interfere with each other.
In terms of interface configuration, this monitor is equipped with a USB-C interface that supports 90W reverse charging, which can simultaneously achieve device power supply and data transmission. In addition, it is equipped with a built-in wired network port (LAN), which facilitates the device to directly connect to the wired network and enhances the stability of data transmission.
With the “Easy Setup Stand” design, even users without technical experience can complete the display installation within 10 seconds. The entire process requires no additional tools or screws: just connect the stand to the base, rotate it 90 degrees to lock it, and then slide the stand as a whole into the slot on the back of the monitor to fix it. Ergonomic design is also reflected in the function of the stand: it supports height adjustment, screen tilt and horizontal rotation. Users can flexibly adjust the screen Angle according to their office sitting posture and the height of the desk to find the most comfortable viewing position and reduce the pressure on the cervical and lumbar vertebrae caused by long-term office work.
