Igeekphone News on November 4th: Samsung’s upcoming triple-fold Galaxy Z TriFold has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG Bluetooth certification database, with five models: SM-D6390, SM-D639N, SM-D639U, SM-D639U1, and SM-D639B.
Different models should represent different markets, which means that the Samsung Triple Foldable will be launched in more markets besides China and South Korea.
Last week, Samsung had already showcased this phone in advance in South Korea. Although it was placed inside a glass case and couldn’t be held in hand, it is certain that the phone adopts a G-shaped folding scheme. The screen is divided into three parts, and both the left and right screens fold towards the middle screen. This is obviously different from the Z-shaped folding method of Huawei Mate XT’s Extraordinary Master.

The G-shaped design, after folding, can protect the screen inside the body, making it relatively safer and more stable. However, an additional outer screen is required to assist with daily use.
In addition, Huawei’s Z-shaped design can be available in three forms: single-screen, dual-screen, and triple-screen, and can be freely switched according to needs. The G-shaped design, on the other hand, can only be switched between single-screen and triple-screen.

The thickness of the Galaxy Z TriFold in the unfolded state is 4.2mm, and the thickness in the folded state is 1.2cm-1.5cm. The crease is almost invisible.
The outer screen size is 6.5 inches and the inner screen size is 10 inches.
This new product will be officially launched this month. Analysts predict that its price may be around $2,800, approximately 19,900 yuan.
For comparison, the starting price of Huawei’s new Mate XTs this year is 17,999 yuan.
