Igeekphone News, December 2nd: Technology media Android Authority published a blog post today (December 2nd). By mining APK files, the design drawing of Samsung Galaxy Buds4 headphones was discovered in the code of One UI 8.5.
The exposed images clearly show the main differences between the Galaxy Buds4 and its Pro version. The new Galaxy Buds4 adopts a semi-in-ear design and eliminates the silicone ear tips equipped in the Pro version.

This design concept is highly consistent with the existing Galaxy Buds3 series, aiming to provide a more comfortable wearing experience for users who are not accustomed to the in-ear foreign body sensation, while forming a clear market differentiation from the Pro version that focuses on noise reduction and sealing.
In terms of appearance details, the Galaxy Buds4 is not a simple “downgraded version”. Although it retains the signature Stem structure, it introduces a brand-new metal mesh grille design element on the side of the headphones. The media believes that this change not only enhances the product’s recognition but may also be related to the optimization of acoustic transparency or microphone pickup performance.

In addition to the finalization of the exterior design, this APK disassembly also revealed potential functional upgrades. Code clues suggest that in conjunction with the release of the new design, Samsung may introduce brand-new gesture control support for the Galaxy Buds4 series.

Although the specific operational logic has not been fully disclosed yet, this indicates that the new generation of products will seek breakthroughs in interactive experience rather than merely the conventional iteration of hardware specifications.
