On December 12th, iGEEKPHONE reported that Huawei held a global launch event in Dubai today, officially releasing new products such as Huawei Mate X7 and Huawei FreeClip 2.
Among them, the Huawei FreeClip 2 is priced at 199 euros, approximately 1,649 yuan, which is significantly more expensive than the 1,299 yuan in China.
Previously, the first-generation FreeClip launched by Huawei attracted much attention. Both its wearing performance and sound quality were excellent. After more than a year of release, it was almost unrivaled. The second generation has been further upgraded.
Huawei FreeClip 2 adopts Huawei’s brand-new third-generation self-developed low-power chip and introduces the NPU AI processor for the first time, increasing its computing power by 10 times.
Equipped with self-developed ultra-powerful dual-engine units, the loudness is enhanced by 100%, and the low-frequency power is also increased by 100%.

The headphones support L2HC audio encoding and precise Starflash search. The Starflash audio experience will be upgraded by the end of 2025.
In terms of product design, Huawei FreeClip 2 adopts a brand-new skin-friendly liquid material, combined with high-performance memory metal, with a 25% increase in softness. The new cloud-sensing C-shaped bridge is softer and more comfortable to the ear.

Each earphone weighs 5.1 grams. It supports left and right ear canal adaptation and is IP57 dustproof and water-resistant.
The earphone charging case adopts a brand-new square design, significantly reducing its volume. The earphone body is placed in a crisscross pattern, saving more space.

Functionally, it also adds the HarmonyOS AI Ear Assistant, which supports head Movement broadcast, Smart Broadcast, Xiaoyi Wake-up, and Xiaoyi Translation.

It is equipped with a 60mAh battery, providing 9 hours of battery life on a single charge. When paired with the charging case (537mAh battery), it offers 38 hours of battery life. A 10-minute charge provides 3 hours of battery life.
