Igeekphone reported on March 26th that the technology media Android Headline published a blog post yesterday (March 25th). After sharing the renderings of the Galaxy Z Fold8, it once again shared the renderings of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide (tentative name, internal code name H8, model SM-F971U).
In terms of positioning, the media pointed out that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide competes with Apple’s foldable iPhone Fold. In terms of product design, it draws on the design concept of Google Pixel Fold, adopting a wider body ratio than the standard version, providing users with a grip sensation closer to that of a traditional phone and a wider reading experience.

In terms of appearance, based on the CAD rendering, the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide when folded are 123.9 x 82.2 x 9.8 millimeters, and the thinnest part when unfolded is 4.9 millimeters.
The back of this device is equipped with a dual-camera module arranged vertically, and the lens protrusions are quite prominent. If the lens module is included, the overall thickness after folding will reach 14.6 millimeters. When placed flat on the table, it may cause some shaking.

In terms of hardware configuration, Igeekphone cited the article to state that the Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide is expected to adopt the same configuration as the Galaxy Z Fold8. It will use the Qualcomm 5th-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition for Galaxy custom chip, offering up to 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage space. It also comes with a 5000mAh large-capacity battery and supports 45W wired fast charging and 25W wireless charging.
In terms of the screen, the outer display of Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide is 5.4 inches, while the inner display is 7.6 inches.
