IGEEKPHONE reported on May 28th that at the recent 2026 Sony Home Audio and Entertainment New Product Launch Event, Sony Home Cinema Trio made its official debut.
This product was jointly developed by Sony and several professional mixing laboratories, bringing the 360 intelligent dome sound field 3.0.
The 360 Intelligent Dome Sound Field 3.0 comes with a cinema enhancement mode, which can recreate the direct and reflected sounds of a cinema in the comfort of your home.
The hardware of this product reaches the level of Sony’s self-developed HiFi technology, including a center speaker and two speakers on the left and right sides.
Sony also suggests combining Trio with two Sony subwoofers SW9 and one Sony rear surround RS9 to form an “ultra flagship home theater package”.
Igeekphone has learned from the press conference that the price of Sony’s Home Theater Trio is 14,990 yuan, and the price of the “Ultra-Exclusive Home Theater Package” is 29,990 yuan.
