Igeekphone News: Fresh renderings of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 foldable smartphones have surfaced online, offering another look at the company’s next-generation foldable lineup ahead of its official unveiling later this month.
The newly leaked images were shared by well-known industry insider Roland Quandt on the social platform Bluesky on July 11. While the renders do not reveal any previously unknown design details, they appear to be high-quality, watermark-free promotional images that closely resemble Samsung’s official marketing materials.
Galaxy Z Flip8 Maintains a Familiar Design
The latest renders reinforce earlier leaks, suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 will retain a design language very similar to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7.
Previous leaks have already showcased the device in three expected color options:
- Cream
- Graphite
- Pink
From the newly surfaced images, Samsung appears to be sticking with the established clamshell form factor rather than introducing a major redesign. The company is instead expected to focus on refining the user experience through hardware improvements, software optimization, and upgraded internal components.

Galaxy Z Fold8 Series Expands with an Ultra Model
The latest leak also offers another glimpse of Samsung’s book-style foldable lineup.
According to previous reports, the Galaxy Z Fold8 family will include two models:
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra
The addition of an Ultra variant marks a notable expansion of Samsung’s premium foldable portfolio. Earlier reports suggest the Ultra model will feature Samsung’s standard inward-folding design while offering higher-end specifications and additional premium features aimed at power users.
Although the latest renders do not reveal hardware differences between the two Fold models, they further support earlier reports that Samsung intends to broaden its foldable lineup with a more clearly differentiated flagship offering.
Official Announcement Scheduled for July 22
Samsung has already confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in London on July 22, 2026, where the company is expected to introduce its newest foldable smartphones alongside other Galaxy devices.
The event is widely anticipated to feature the official debut of:
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra
In addition to the new foldables, Samsung is also expected to announce updates to its wearable ecosystem and unveil new Galaxy AI features designed to enhance productivity and the overall user experience.

Familiar Design, Focused Refinements
Based on the growing number of leaks, Samsung appears to be taking an evolutionary approach with its 2026 foldable lineup. Rather than dramatically redesigning its devices, the company is expected to focus on improving performance, display technology, durability, battery efficiency, camera capabilities, and AI-powered software features.
With the official launch now just days away, consumers won’t have to wait long to see how Samsung plans to strengthen its position in the increasingly competitive global foldable smartphone market.
