Hasselblad officially released Phocus Mobile Android version 1.0.0. The launch of this version responded to the long-standing demands and expectations of the Hasselblad user community. Thus, the mobile imaging workflow of Hasselblad X2D II 100C, X2D 100C, and CFV 100C has been officially expanded to the Android ecosystem, enabling a wider group of creators to experience the convenience of Hasselblad’s mobile photo editing and management. As a powerful creative tool for Hasselblad users, Phocus Mobile Android version not only leverages the potential of Hasselblad’s Natural Color Solution (HNCS), but also integrates efficient RAW noise reduction, comprehensive editing toolkits, and convenient photo management functions, providing creators with a rigorous and professional mobile imaging workflow. No matter where you are, Android users can now perform professional-level preview, editing, and management directly on their mobile devices, allowing inspiration to no longer be limited to the desktop.
End-to-end HNCS experience
The Phocus Mobile Android version is dedicated to fully replicating the advantages of HNCS on the mobile platform, presenting a smooth and delicate, pure and genuine Hasselblad color.
For the Hasselblad High Dynamic Natural Color Solution (HNCS HDR), the APP also provides a corresponding workflow. HDR images captured using the X2D II 100C, as well as RAW format images captured using the X2D 100C, CFV 100C, can be directly viewed and edited within the application, and exported in Ultra HDR JPG or HDR TIFF formats. This workflow retains rich highlights details, providing rigorous post-production support for the creation of high dynamic range images.
Hasselblad’s natural noise reduction technology achieves a perfect balance between detailed clarity and pureness.
For night scene and low-light shooting scenarios, the Phocus Mobile Android version is equipped with Hasselblad Natural Noise Reduction (HNNR) function. When dealing with 100-megapixel RAW images, HNNR can complete efficient noise reduction processing within 15 to 20 seconds. This significantly expands the handheld shooting potential of cameras like the CFV 100C that do not have built-in image stabilization function in low-light environments. This feature offers two processing modes: “Purity Priority Mode” minimizes image noise as much as possible to achieve pure image quality; “Detail Priority Mode” moderately retains luminance noise to maintain micro textures and picture details.

Photo editing and quick management
The Phocus Mobile Android version integrates comprehensive global editing tools, including exposure adjustment, curves, white balance, monochrome correction, lens correction, noise removal, sharpening, rotation cropping, and trapezoidal correction. Editing parameters support copying and batch application, significantly enhancing the efficiency of multi-image processing. Users can quickly import camera photos to the application via Wi-Fi or wired connection. During selection, star rating and collection marking are supported. After editing, images can be exported in various types and sizes, including full-size / medium-size / small-size JPG, full-size 16-bit and 8-bit TIFF, as well as HEIF or 3FR RAW formats, meeting diverse output requirements.
