In 2017, full view display smartphone has grown like mushrooms, becoming a tendency for smartphone field, almost every smartphone manufacturer has to release its bezel-less phone, but there is always someone who can break this ice, yesterday Chinese old brand, ZTE has held press conference in New York, USA to release its global first dual screen foldable smartphone, ZTE AXON M, starting to challenge bezel-less phone.
The biggest highlight of this phone is two screen connecting just like flipped smartphone back to a few years ago, it is worthwhile to mention that the dual screen can show two apps at the same time, offering multi-tasking experience like PC.
It is said that AXON M has three modes, first, extended mode, two screen connected, offering 6.8 inch large display, in this mode, it can be regarded as a small tablet. Second, dual screen mode, two screen can run different apps separately, such as one is for chatting, the other for watching movies, even it can let two users play multi-people games in a phone. Third, Mirror mode, two screen can display same content, under this mode, two users can share one content at the same time.
ZTE claims currently there are over 60 apps to support dual screen mode, in the near future, there will be more apps compatible dual screen mode.
As for its specs, ZTE AXON M offers 5.2 inch 1080P screen, powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, RAM 4GB ROM 64GB internal storage, supporting up to 2TB for expansion, it is worthwhile to know that the phone only has 20MP camera, F/1.8 aperture, supporting PDAF, equipped with Dual LED flash.
The phone is built in 3,180mAh battery, supporting quick charge, it has 12.1mm thickness, 230g weight, supporting power button fingerprint scanner. ZTE AXON M sells at 725usd in USA, As for Chinese version, it will cooperate with China Telecom, JD to sell in the first quarter of 2018.
