Yesterday, the rumor mill had revealed the entire specifications of the soon-to-be-unveiled Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones. Few hours later, ahead of the official launch of these phones, a Twitter user has managed to get the pricing of the different variants of the Redmi Note 5 through an Indian online retailer.
Leaked information has revealed that the Redmi Note 5 would be available in two models namely, 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. These models are likely to be respectively priced at Rs. 9,999 ($155) and Rs. 11,999 ($187).
On the other side, the Redmi Note 5 Pro would be coming in three models such as 4 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. Even though there are three models, pricing information on only two models are available. The 4 GB RAM + 64 GB RAM and 6 GB RAM + 64 GB RAM variants are respectively priced at Rs. 13,999 ($218) and Rs. 16,999 ($265). There is a possibility that the 4 GB RAM + 32 GB storage model may arrive with a pricing of Rs. 12,999 ($202).
