Apple is reportedly working on an advanced iPad called iPad X. Just as the iPhone X was launched with a full screen design and a notch, the iPad X is also expected to arrive with a similar design.
Leaked information states that the iPad X will have super-slim bezels with a notch placed on the top edge. Like the iPhone X, the notch will be housing 3D facial recognition technology. The backside of the tablet is expected to be made out of glass. It is speculated that the rear-facing camera will also have the same vertical design that can be seen on the iPhone X. Hence, the iPad X is speculated to appear like a large-sized iPhone X. Since the iPad X is pegged to sport iPhone X’s design, it is unlikely to feature a fingerprint scanner
As far as specs are concerned, the Apple A11X Bionic chipset is likely to power the iPad X. This suggests that the tablet will be able to deliver topnotch performance as it will be joined by M11 motion co-processor. It is speculated that the tablet would be available in 64 GB and 512 GB storage models. These models are expected to respectively cost 7,999 Yuan and 9,999 Yuan
Rumors also suggest that Apple may hold a launch event in the next month. It is speculated that the iPad X, iPhone SE 2 and a cheaper iPhone X will be unveiled in the coming month.
