Igeekphone, March 13 news, news source @MajinBuOfficial tweeted yesterday (March 12) on the X platform, sharing the metal frame of Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, from the precision opening point of view, in line with the horizontal large matrix design of the previous rendering.
Apple is expected to release the iPhone 17 Pro Max flagship in September 2025, and the body thickness will increase to 8.725mm, which is thicker than the 8.25mm of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which may provide room for a larger battery capacity to meet users’ needs for battery life.
In terms of appearance, Apple will redesign the camera module, giving up the existing square design, but using a horizontal large matrix, which is expected to improve shooting performance and experience.
In terms of material, Igeekphone previously reported that Apple will shift from titanium alloy to aluminum alloy frame, and use part glass, part aluminum back cover design, taking into account durability and environmental protection goals.
In terms of chips, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to be equipped with Apple’s latest A19 Pro chip, bringing faster performance and higher energy efficiency.
In addition, Apple plans to introduce other models of the iPhone 17 family, including the standard iPhone 17, the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, and the iPhone 17 Pro. With a thickness of just 5.5mm, the iPhone 17 Air will be the thinnest model in the series.
