The Chinese brand recently launched a new notebook, Chuwi Larkbook, designed for any office work on the move and for daily entertainment. It adopts a 13.3 “Full HD display, but the peculiar feature is that it weighs only 1 kilogram in the typical size of an A4 sheet of paper. Under the body the (not very exciting) Intel Celeron N4120 equipped with a respectable memory compartment: 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage.

    Design

Chuwi has always stood out on the market for its extremely economical solutions, however on this model we can see very respectable implementations. First of all the aluminium-magnesium alloy chassis, which allows you to hold a 13.3 “notebook in a product that weighs only 1 kilogram (30% less than many other products of similar size). chassis is also only 11.9mm. Chuwi LarkBook is designed to offer a solution to users who want to create a “mobile office”, an office on the move, without disdaining multimedia entertainment. The low energy consumption guaranteed by the integrated processor, the good memory compartment, and the Full HD display is perfect not only for daily work but for all the basic needs of any type of user.

    Hardware

Under the body, we have an Intel Celeron N4120 processor; with four cores and four threads at a frequency of 2.4GHz in turbo mode. Compared to the N3350 model, it can offer a 45% increase in performance; in single-core and 90% in multi-core, all with a 6W design and passive system in terms of heat dissipation. The 13.3 “Full HD screen guarantees good colour accuracy and; together with the stereo audio compartment with DTS support on four integrated speakers, offers a high-level performance with films and multimedia content in general.

    Features

Thanks to the low consumption chip (TDP of 6W), this model is fanless so it does not use any fan for dissipation; resulting in silent even in the most demanding activities. There is also a webcam for video-conferences; the 34.8Wh battery rechargeable through the USB Type-C port (also useful for data transfer and video signal); the 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB 3.1, a USB 2.0, WiFi 802.11 dual-band ac and Bluetooth 4.2. Chuwi LarkBook runs on Windows 10.

    Conclusion

Chuwi Larkbook is about to be delivered to the first buyers. It is a 13.3 “notebook weighing 1 kilogram. For more details, we point out the product page on the Chuwi official website.
