Gionee is taking the market by storm with their smartphones featuring large number of user friendly features. The upcoming Gionee M6 is gonna be full with surprises as it as come to light that the smartphone will come with a Security Encryption Chip inside it.
Gionee claims that this chip will make the Gionee M6 one of safest smartphones ever. Gionee says the M6 which is expected to be launched by July 26, uses an encryption chip to make user’s personal data on the device utmost secure . We still haven’t had any leaks about the specification of device yet, but the idea behind hardware encryption is that, it being within the device reduces the route of potential attack the smartphone could face.
Using such type of encryption is not new in the industry,companies like Apple have used it in their iPhones previously. The encryption makes the access of data on the device very difficult in case of theft or robbery. Most other smartphones come with the software encryption tech.
The ongoing debate of Apple vs FBI over secure smartphones has already gathered media attention. Both Android and iOS are beefing up their security features in their latest iterations. Although we have many secure smartphones in market like , Turing Phone, Solarin smartphone, Silent Circle’s Breakphone etc which are based on the software Encryption technology but are still vulnerable at the OS level. Gionee claims that Gionee M6 is gonna be the safest smartphone of the world, well that we will know as soon as the phone launches. If its true then Android is on the way of becoming way lot better in future.
