GOKEEP F5 Electric Scooter Combines a 52V Battery With a 1000W Motor and 11-Inch Tires

Electric scooters are becoming increasingly diverse. Some are built primarily for short urban trips and portability, while others put more emphasis on motor output, larger tires and longer riding distances.

GOKEEP F5 falls closer to the latter category. It combines a 52V 20Ah lithium-ion battery with a 1000W brushless motor, 11-inch tires and a claimed maximum range of 43km. At 35kg, however, this is clearly not an ultra-light commuter scooter. Its specifications suggest a machine designed to prioritize power, stability and range over easy one-handed carrying.

For readers comparing different electric scooter models, the biggest differences usually come down to motor power, battery capacity, tire size, portability and the type of terrain they are designed to handle.

That trade-off is what makes the F5 more interesting than simply looking at its motor rating.

The F5 Is Built Around a Power-and-Range Balance

The headline specification is the 1000W brushless motor.

Rather than pairing a relatively small battery with a high-output motor, GOKEEP gives the F5 a 52V 20Ah battery pack. The manufacturer lists a recommended speed of 25km/h and a claimed driving range of up to 43km.

These figures should not be interpreted as guaranteed real-world results. Rider weight, terrain, temperature, riding style and speed can all affect actual range and performance.

Still, the combination tells us something about the scooter’s intended character. The F5 is not simply trying to be a compact last-mile vehicle. It has been configured around a larger battery and a more powerful motor, giving it more headroom for riders who want a substantial electric scooter rather than a minimalist commuter model.

A 52V 20Ah Battery Gives the F5 More Battery Capacity to Work With

Battery capacity is one of the most important specifications to examine when comparing electric scooters.

The F5 uses a 52V 20Ah lithium-ion battery, and Banggood lists a maximum claimed mileage of 43km. The listed charging time is approximately 7–8 hours.

The capacity is particularly relevant because a higher-output motor can demand more energy during acceleration and climbing. A large battery does not automatically guarantee long range, but it gives the scooter a larger energy reserve to draw from.

For potential buyers, the more useful question is therefore not simply whether 43km sounds impressive. It is whether the scooter’s size, weight and charging requirements fit the way they actually plan to ride.

Someone making short daily trips may rarely need the full battery capacity, while a rider covering longer distances may find the larger pack more useful.

1000W Brushless Motor Targets Stronger Performance

The GOKEEP F5 uses a 1000W brushless motor, with the product listing also claiming the ability to handle gradients of up to 45 degrees.

The gradient figure should be treated cautiously because climbing performance depends heavily on rider weight, surface conditions, battery charge and the exact hill profile. It should not be assumed that the scooter will comfortably climb any 45-degree slope in normal use.

What the motor rating does make clear is that the F5 belongs to the more powerful end of the recreational and commuter scooter market.

The advantage of a higher-output motor is not necessarily a higher top speed. In this case, the listed recommended speed is 25km/h. Instead, motor capacity can be more relevant when accelerating, carrying heavier riders or dealing with inclines.

11-Inch Tires Change the Character of the Scooter

The F5’s 11-inch tires are another important part of its design.

Larger scooter tires generally have more tire volume and can provide a more planted feel than the smaller wheels commonly found on lightweight city scooters. They can also make it easier to deal with minor imperfections in the riding surface.

That does not turn the F5 into an all-terrain vehicle, and buyers should still follow suitable surfaces and local regulations. But the 11-inch setup fits naturally with the scooter’s larger frame, higher motor output and relatively substantial weight.

In other words, the tires are not an isolated upgrade. They are part of the overall decision to make the F5 a larger, more substantial electric scooter.

Folding Helps With Storage, Not With Weight

One of the F5’s practical features is its quick-folding design.

This can be useful when the scooter needs to be placed in a car trunk or stored in a limited space.

However, folding should not be confused with lightweight portability.

The listed net weight is 35kg, which is considerably heavier than many compact commuter scooters.

That distinction matters. The folding mechanism makes the F5 easier to store and transport by vehicle, but carrying a 35kg scooter up stairs or over long distances is a different proposition.

For buyers, this means the F5 makes more sense if folding is primarily about storage and vehicle transport rather than frequent carrying.

Aluminum Alloy Construction Supports the Larger Format

GOKEEP lists an aluminum alloy construction and a maximum payload of 120kg.

The relatively high load rating matches the scooter’s larger overall configuration. A 1000W motor, 11-inch tires and large battery are more useful when the chassis can accommodate a substantial rider.

Nevertheless, the 120kg figure should be considered a maximum specification rather than an ideal target. Rider weight, cargo, terrain and riding conditions all influence handling and braking performance.

An NFC Smart LED Display Adds a Modern Touch

The F5 also includes an NFC Smart LED display.

Compared with a basic scooter that provides only minimal indicator lights, a dedicated display can make the riding interface more informative. The NFC element also gives the scooter a more modern control concept than traditional key-based designs.

The product listing confirms the NFC Smart LED display but does not provide enough detail to establish exactly which NFC functions are supported, so buyers should not assume smartphone-style features beyond what the manufacturer specifies.

IPX5 Protection Is Useful, But It Is Not a License for Wet Riding

The GOKEEP F5 is rated IPX5 according to the product specification.

That provides some protection against water exposure, but an IP rating should not be interpreted as meaning an electric scooter can safely be ridden through any weather or submerged in water.

Wet surfaces can also change tire grip and braking behavior. Riders should therefore consider weather and road conditions separately from the scooter’s water-resistance rating.

The F5’s Biggest Trade-Off Is Its Size

The specifications make the F5 relatively easy to categorize.

    It offers:

    • A 1000W brushless motor
    • 52V 20Ah lithium-ion battery
    • Up to 43km claimed mileage
    • 25km/h recommended speed
    • 11-inch tires
    • 120kg maximum load
    • 35kg net weight
    • IPX5 protection
    • NFC Smart LED display
    • Folding construction
    • 7–8 hour listed charging time

But these specifications also reveal the main compromise.

This is a large and heavy electric scooter. Its 35kg weight is significant, even though the folding mechanism makes storage easier.

That means the F5 is better suited to riders who have somewhere to store it and, ideally, a vehicle for transportation when necessary. It is less attractive for someone who expects to carry a scooter through a train station or up several flights of stairs every day.

Who Should Consider the GOKEEP F5?

The F5 could make sense for riders who prioritize:

Longer riding capability: The 52V 20Ah battery and claimed 43km range make longer rides a central part of the design.

Motor output: The 1000W brushless motor gives the scooter a stronger performance focus than entry-level commuter models.

Compared with lightweight commuter models, 1000W electric scooters are generally aimed at riders who want stronger acceleration and more capability when carrying additional weight or tackling inclines.

Larger tires: The 11-inch wheels are appropriate for riders who want a more substantial scooter platform.

Storage flexibility: The folding mechanism makes a relatively large scooter easier to put away or transport in a vehicle.

It may be less suitable for buyers whose number-one priority is low weight.

    Final Verdict

GOKEEP F5 e-scooter is best understood as a substantial electric scooter rather than a lightweight city commuter.

Its 52V 20Ah battery, 1000W brushless motor and 11-inch tires create a specification package focused on range, motor capability and a more planted riding platform. The 43km claimed mileage and 120kg load rating further reinforce that positioning.

At the same time, its 35kg weight is impossible to ignore. The folding system helps with storage and vehicle transport, but it does not make the scooter genuinely lightweight.

That trade-off is ultimately the key to the F5. If you want a more powerful, larger electric scooter and can accommodate its weight, the specification package is compelling. If portability means frequently lifting and carrying the scooter, a lighter model may be a better fit.

As always, riders should check the applicable local laws and regulations before using an electric scooter on public roads or other areas where these vehicles are regulated. Banggood also advises riders to read the instructions and use protective equipment.
