Recently, the official account of Nokia Mobile on Weibo posted a photo showing that HMD Global will hold a new product launch event on July 11. Although not disclosed on the picture, most sources claim that the Nokia X5 will be the product launched in the upcoming event.
The Nokia X5 was made available on the internet shortly after HMD Global held the event in Russia on May 29. There, Nokia has launched Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1. Later, the Nokia X5 was certified by TENAA, revealing all the specs and showing it to be sold in China.
The poster does not reveal much about the Nokia X5 apart from suggesting that the machine will be able to play well. Previously, data on TENAA revealed the Nokia X5 is a mid-range with fairly humble features but some new batch components. We have a 5.86-inch screen with HD + resolution in 19: 9 format, with ‘notch’, included. It is a panel that is still not very common, since to date most devices with ‘notch’ had FullHD + resolution. The size of the body measurements is 149.51× 71.89 × 8.09mm.
Inside we do not have a Qualcomm processor. In the same way, we have seen in the new Nokia 5.1, a MediaTek processor is added. The chosen one is an Helio P60, manufactured in 12nm and with 8-cores at 2 GHz. It will be accompanied by 3GB of RAM in the 32GB model of storage and 4GB or 6GB of RAM for the 64GB version. In any case, they will be expandable through microSD.
For the battery we have 3000mAh and in the photographic section, we have a dual rear camera with 13MP and a front with 8MP. Android 8.1 Oreo will be the software version that adds this new device. We do not know if it will continue within the Android One project but we will have a customization layer very similar to pure Android.

From the specification point of view, the Smartphone is positioned slightly lower than the Nokia X6. At the moment there are no details about the price or availability of Nokia X5, so we will have to wait for the event on July 11 to learn more information.
