Honor 70 Series Will be Powered By Dimensity 9000 Chipset


At the end of May, a presentation of the Honor 70 series will take place in China. It is expected that it will include the Honor 70, Honor 70 Pro, and Honor 70 Pro + models. Details about smartphones have appeared on the network.

A new teaser reveals that the Honor 70 series will be equipped with the Dimensity 9000 flagship chipset, which is an 8-core chipset that was announced on November 18, 2021, and is manufactured using a 4-nanometer process technology. It has 1 core Cortex-X2 at 3050 MHz, 3 cores Cortex-A710 at 2850 MHz, and 4 cores Cortex-A510 at 1800 MHz.

Compared with the Snapdragon 8, the Dimensity 9000 has a higher running score and a better energy consumption ratio. It is a flagship processor with excellent performance.

Other specifications

Previous reports have indicated that the Honor 70 series will be equipped with OLED panels supplied by BOE. It is speculated that Honor 70 Pro and 70 Pro + will support LTPO technology. The vanilla model can pack a 4800mAh battery with 66W fast charging. A 4600mAh battery can power the Honor 70 Pro and 70 Pro+.

In addition, Trusted tipster Calvo claims that the Honor 70 series will be equipped with the 54MP Sony IMX800 main camera. However, it does not clearly specify whether all three Honor 70 models will be equipped with the Sony IMX800 lens. More detailed characteristics of the device will be known after the presentation.
