Igeekphone News, June 27th: This morning, Honor officially announced the imaging configuration of the Magic V5. The Magic V5 will be equipped with a 64-megapixel ultra-sensitive telephoto lens, supporting OIS optical image stabilization and AI super telephoto capability.
Not long ago, Luo Wei, the chief imaging engineer of Honor, shared sample photos of the new Magic V5 and revealed that the device supports telephoto macro and is claimed to be “the strongest foldable phone”.
Previous leaked information indicated that the thinnest body of this device was 8.8mm. Compared with the 9.2mm of the previous generation Magic V3, Magic V5 once again set a new record for the thinnest foldable phone in the world, weighing only 217g. The Magic V5 will also be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (Snapdragon 8 Ultra), a 6100mAh battery and side fingerprint unlock. In addition, the new Magic V5 is equipped with the Honor Luban shock-absorbing hinge, which is known as the “most shock-resistant hinge”. It uses the same high-toughness fibers as spacesuits and supports AI foreign object detection on the inner screen.
Honor Magic V5 will be officially released at 19:00 on July 2nd
