Blogger DigitalChat has revealed that the Honor Play5 model is about to be released, as well as some specs. According to Mobile China, the Honor Play 5 will be equipped with a 6.53-inch water drop FHD screen, which will be made of OLED material and may support screen fingerprint unlocking.
In other specs, Honor Play5 has rear matrix four-shot: 64 megapixel main lens +8 megapixel lens +2 megapixel lens +2 megapixel lens. It also uses a 3,800 mAh battery with a 66 watt super flash charge, which takes just 30 minutes to charge to 80%. The processor may be the Dimensity 800U, but it’s not clear whether the Honor Play5 production model will be replaced.
In addition, foreign media also released suspected Honor Play5 renderings. On June 6, 2018, Honor officially launched its high-performance Honor Play series, along with the much-anticipated “scary technology” — GPU Turbo. It is also from this model that most models of Honor are shipped with built-in GPU Turbo graphics acceleration technology.
According to Mobile China, GPU Turbo is a kind of graphics processing acceleration technology based on hard and soft cooperation. It breaks the boundary of hardware and software, and reconstructs the traditional graphics processing framework at the bottom of the system to realize the collaboration between hardware and software. It greatly improves the overall efficiency of GPU graphics computing, improves the picture quality and performance, and reduces the energy consumption, bringing a smooth game experience. I wonder if the upcoming Honor Play5 will bring some more “scary technology”?
