Chinese giant Huawei is preparing for the announcement of two low-cost tablets. Future updates will be called Huawei MatePad T10 and T10s. The low-end devices that would equip the Kirin processor and that would not have the services of Google, something already normal in any of the mobiles and tablets that the manufacturer launched.
We know these two new tablets through a leak made by the user Roland Quandt on his Twitter profile, who has detailed all the technical characteristics of the MatePad T10 and T10S, where we find some differences as you will see now.
At the design level, the two are identical, we find ourselves with quite considerable edges in the front, while in the rear section we have to settle for a single camera and a fairly sober and dull color because it makes use of a dark gray.
MatePad T10, Technical Specifications
Let’s go with the first one, the MatePad 10, these would be its technical characteristics according to the filtered data:
The first of the two models sport a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels; inside we find a Kirin 710A with 4 Cortex A73 cores having a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz and 4 Cortex A53 clocking at 1.7 GHz. The tablet is sold in two different memory cuts (2 + 16GB and 2 + 32GB); you can expand the memory with a microSD.
On the back, we find a 5MP camera with autofocus and a 2MP front selfie cam for video calls. The tablet is based on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 customization; Google Mobile Services are obviously absent. Connectivity is complete: dual-band si-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB C, headphone jack, and 5100mAh battery.
Huawei MatePad T10S: Slightly Superior
MatePad T10S is a slightly more powerful variant; the IPS LCD display is 10.1 inches with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution; under the hood, we also find here, a Kirin 710A. The tablet is offered in the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant or in the 3 + 64GB version.
We also report for this model the possibility of expanding storage via microSD; full connectivity with USB C, 3.5mm jack, EMUI 10.1, and HMS. It is interesting to note the presence of a speaker with Harmon Kardon technology.
On the launch date of the two devices, It is not yet known when the MatePad T10 series tablets will be released. It is estimated that there will be reasonable prices due to the entry-level tablets on the pricing side. Since almost all the features of the new tablets have leaked, we expect the devices to be introduced soon.
