Today Huawei holds Huawei P40 series global online press conference to release Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+ three flagship smartphones.
Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ adopt 6.58″ OLED four curved screen with 2640×1200 pixel resolutions and 90Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 HDR colour gamut, supporting IP68 waterproof and dustproof function, but Huawei P40 uses 6.1 inch 2340 x 1080 pixel screen, supporting IP53 waterproof and dustproof, they all support under screen fingerprint scanner.
They all use nano ceramic craftsmanship, P40 and P40 Pro have jet black, dark blue, ice silver, golden, and white colors, while P40 Pro+ has ceramic white and ceramic black colors.
As for their camera, three phones have 50MP main rear camera with 1/1.28 inch, which is largest camera sensor until now, it adopts RYYB photosensitive pixel matrix, and supports 50MP double focus technology, so they have 0.1 billion focus pixel points in fact.
P40 uses three rear camera, 50MP RYYB ultra-sensing wide angle camera, 16MP ultra wide angle lens, and 8MP telephoto lens to support three times optical zooming and OIS function.
Huawei P40 Pro has four rear camera, they are 50MP RYYB ultra-sensing wide angle camera with OIS, 40MP ultra wide angle film lens, a 12MP RYYB tele-photo lens with OIS to support 5 times optical zooming and a ToF sensor.
But P40 Pro uses five rear camera, 50MP RYYB ultra-sensing wide angle camera with OIS, 40MP ultra wide angle film lens, 8MP tele-photo lens camera with 10 times optical zooming and OIS function, 8MP telephoto lens to support three times optical zooming and OIS function and a ToF sensor.
In their performance, Huawei P40 series is powered by Kirin 990 5G SoC, 5G LTE network, supporting 5G double network, dual SIM card, dual standby, and Wifi 6 / wifi 6+ （2400Mbps，160MHz @5GHz, and 3D graphene thermal film ensures thermal performance.
In battery, P40 is built in 3,800mAh battery, supporting 22.5W quick charge, P40 Pro and P40+ is built in 4200mAh battery, supporting 40W super charge, while P40 Pro+ can support 40W super change and Type C wireless charging.
In OS, Huawei P40 series runs EMUI 10.1 OS, built in latest AI Celia, supporting Hey Celia voice wake-up. Huawei P40 series will use HMS of Huawei instead of GMS service. In additio, Huawei AppGallery will also be built in the phones, besides rich applications,AppGallery can also offer fast and convenient app functions.
Huawei P40 series can offer customized gift box and smartphone case accesories including colorful and fashionable case with different texture, game cases, and diving cases, etc.

About their price and availability, the Huawei P40 starts at €799 ($880) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB model and goes on sale on the same day as the P40 Pro: April 7 and P40 Pro at €999 for 8+256GB and P40 Pro+ at €1399 for 8+512GB.
