On September 4th, Igeekphone reported that in September last year, Huawei suddenly released the world’s first triple-foldable phone, bringing a brand-new form of mobile phones and winning numerous awards worldwide.
One year later today, Huawei has once again introduced a new generation of triple-foldable phones – the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master.
It is worth mentioning that during this year, no other mass-produced triple foldable phones have been launched on the market. Therefore, the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master is currently the second triple foldable phone in the industry and is globally exclusive.

However, this Mate XTs has not undergone significant changes. Its appearance remains the same, featuring the classic central axis symmetrical design. The lens part is an octagonal legendary star diamond. The leather back cover has added a brand-new embossed design, making it even more upscale.
At the bottom, there are the brand logos of Huawei and ULTIMATE DESIGN (Extraordinary Master), and above is a hexagonal metal nameplate. It has a very luxurious and high-end custom texture. There are four options available: Black, Red, White and Purple.

It is equipped with a 10.2-inch Huawei Immersive Display 3K large screen, with a resolution of 3184*2232 and a screen ratio of 16:11. It supports LTPO smart adaptive refresh rate, has a brightness of up to 1800nits, and also supports adaptive partition display technology, reducing power consumption by 19%.
In addition, it supports dual-screen and single-screen formats, with sizes of 7.9 inches and 6.4 inches respectively.
The screen is covered with non-Newtonian fluid materials and paired with UTG glass, enhancing its impact resistance by 30%.
Yu Chengdong said at the press conference: “When it comes to folding, only Huawei can surpass Huawei.”

He introduced that Huawei’s ability to achieve three folds mainly stems from its ingenious Tiangong hinge system, which enables the ultra-thin large screen to bend both inside and outside. It achieves folding through dual-track linkage, and the thickness of the hinge is significantly reduced compared to traditional foldable screens.
The most significant part of this press conference was that it finally began to talk about the processor specifications, directly announcing that this device is equipped with the Kirin 9020, and the official claims that its performance has been enhanced by 36%.
According to previous reports, the CPU of this processor consists of 1×2.5GHz large cores +3×2.15GHz medium cores +4×1.6GHz small cores, and integrates the Maleoon 920 GPU.

It supports the second-generation Lingxi communication, which can operate at a speed of 5A. It also supports Tiantong satellite communication, allowing direct calls to satellite phones. Yu Chengdong once again emphasized that this feature is “used once in a lifetime, and each call lasts a lifetime.”
In terms of experience, this time it also supports three-screen parallel operation, allowing three programs to run simultaneously, directly transforming into a mobile workbench.
A new major accessory has been added – a stylus, which supports global annotation, split-screen excerpting, and quick note-taking functions, making it very convenient to record. Previously, Yang Mi was the first to experience it.
In addition, when the mobile phone is used in conjunction with this stylus, it can also be used to demonstrate and watch TV series remotely. Users can turn pages and give likes by pressing the buttons on the stylus.
It also supports the brand-new Starflash keyboard, with the entire keyboard surface serving as a touchpad. It can be folded, making it convenient to carry around.

For the first time in the industry, PC-level multi-window interaction has been integrated into mobile phones. With the support of HarmonyOS 5, it supports free multi-windows, panoramic multi-windows, and multiple PC-level applications, providing a PC-like interaction experience.
For the first time, I installed PC versions of WPS, Eastmoney, Wondershare Mind Map, Wondershare Max and other software on my mobile phone.
Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master is also the first mobile phone in the industry to access data from the China Earthquake Administration. It can connect to 15,000 professional earthquake observation stations across the country in real time, enhancing the earthquake early warning capability by 2.5 times and achieving second-level earthquake early warning in key areas of the country.
One of the main upgrade highlights of the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master is its imaging capability. It is equipped with a 40-megapixel RYYB sensor, an F2.2 aperture, and a 2.5cm macro ultra-wide-angle camera. A super optical variable camera with a 50-megapixel RYYB sensor, ten physical variable apertures from F1.4 to F4.0, and OIS. A red maple original color camera with 1.5 million multi-spectral channels and a 120% improvement in color reproduction. And a 12-megapixel RYYB sensor, a periscope telephoto camera that supports 5.5x optical zoom and is equipped with OIS.
The addition of the Red Maple original color lens enables the new phone to perfectly reproduce the colors of the real world, and its white balance accuracy far exceeds that of other phones.
In addition to taking photos, the video shooting capability has also been greatly enhanced. Yu Chengdong said that this is mainly due to the performance of the eighth-generation ISP. The real-time data processing capability has increased by 200%, the AI color engine has improved the color performance by 120%, and at the same time, the AI video noise reduction capability has increased by 100%, and the AI real-time HDR has also improved by 33%.
In terms of price, the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master is slightly lower than its predecessor, offering three configurations: 16+256GB at 17,999 yuan, 16+512GB at 19,999 yuan, and 16GB+1TB at 21,999 yuan.
In addition, Huawei also offers a free smart window rotating stand protective case worth 999 yuan. The Huawei M-Pen 3, a stylus compatible with the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master, is priced at 599 yuan.
In addition, Huawei also offers a stylus set version, available in black and white, with a 16GB+1TB storage combination, priced at 22,499 yuan. It comes with accessories such as a protective case, car charger, and fast charger.
