Chinese brands still seem to be at some stage of hibernation because news about new models is coming for a month or two. It is a clear day for everyone to think about changing the strategy for the situation they came across. It seems that the Rugged IP68 smartphone segment is too tasteful to ignore, until even Leagoo’s classmate brand that has never released a Rugged smartphone previously also follow-up, its name is Leagoo XRover. Today, on a post on the company’s official Facebook Page, all the specs, and price were Unveiled.

The design acts as a typical rugged phone – a little thicker and wider, but it’s all for safety. Leagoo has said nothing to be a rugged device, but looking at the pictures it is to be expected. What they are saying is an IP68 certification so you can be sure that Xrover is dust and water resistant. It is likely that users would not think of a slower processor than the Helio P25. The Helio P23 is not really slower, but we’re not quite sure it will prove it with additional confusing tags. There are also 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal memory, a dual 13MP + 5MP rear camera (Sony IMX258 sensor), 8 MP front camera (Sony IMX219 sensor) and a huge 5000mAh battery with support for 9V / 2A quick charging.
Leagoo XRover price and release date
Leagoo XRover sells sometime during the 4th month at a price of $ 269.99. This is somewhere around 220 EUR, which is a great price when we consider all that Leagoo offers. For someone looking for such a smartphone, it will surely be one of the most appealing options. As for Leagoo, it is better to wait for reviews before you decide on anything – especially considering that the software on Leagoo phones has not been the most stable lately. Hopefully, they have been involved in it in the interim.
