Lenovo is a well known company in China for it’s tables, notebooks and mobiles. Only very recently entered the market of the wearable with the Lenovo HW01. The truth is that the HW01 looks a lot like Mi Band 2, but the most important is who does its work better.
Design
The HW01 can be found in black and red . The size-adjustable silicone bracelet is secured to the position we want by a metal pin buckle. The HW01 has IP65 certification, which means that is protected from dust and splash water , which is mainly due to the backside Micro USB charging jacks. The silicone bracelet itself is residue-free clean processed. The 0.91″ display is of OLED type and with resolution 128 x 32 pixels. The Lenovo HW01 Fitnesstracker, like Mi Band 2, is operated via a capacitive control button below the display, used to change the displaying info. Because of the OLED display technology used, the HW01 does not need any background lighting to see what is displaying. Each pixel is self-luminous. The readability of the Lenovo HW01 display is very good. The pixel light up very brightly and the display remains well readable even under strong sunlight.
Features
The Lenovo HW01 Fitnesstracker, normally uses an app, just like Mi Fit for Xiaomi Miband 2. The app is called Lenovo Fitness Strap, but I cannot find the app at the internet. Through the app we learn about being a pedometer , Date, time and stopwatch, Steps, distance and calories, Heart rate measurement and sleep monitor, Notifications. It can display incoming notifications, only if we get them from the server and through our mobile.
Battery
Equipped with heart rate monitor (dynamic) and with 85 mAh, the Lenovo HW01 has a standby time of 7 days.
Conclusion
The Lenovo HW01 could stand up easily. When they come. the other must reconsider. Lenovo HW01, I could say it is a very good wearband. The HW01 can be found at Gearbest for the price of 22.99$.
