LG Q60, K50 and K40 Official: FullVision Display and MIL-STD 810G Crtification

Without waiting for the start of the exhibition MWC 2019, where the official premiere of flagship smartphones LG G8 ThinQ and LG V50 ThinQ 5G is expected, LG has announced several new models that will become a more affordable alternative to new flagships. In total, three new smartphones were presented: LG K40, K50, and Q60.

Interestingly, all three new items stand out protected performance. More specifically, the device has a certificate of the American military standard MIL-STD 810G, which determines resistance to high and low temperatures (the operating temperature range extends from -20 ° C to + 60 ° C), vibration, shock, and falls.

LG Q60

Let’s start with the LG Q60, it sports 6.26-inch HD+ FullVision display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and has a waterdrop notch on the top of the display. The device is powered by Octa Core processor paired with 3GB RAM, in terms of storage, the device has 64GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 2TB via micro SD card.

Moving to the photography department, the LG Q60 rocks a triple rear camera setup and that’s in the combination of the 16MP sensor with PDAF, + 2MP depth sensor, and a last 5MP super wide angle sensor. Up front, there is a 13MP selfie camera. The device also supports the fingerprint scanner and it is MIL-STD 810G compliant.

The smartphone also has AI functions like AI Cam that recognizes objects and recommends the ideal shooting mode for the best results. There’s also a dedicated button to trigger Google Assistant, and DTS:X 3D Surround Sound support. The device runs on Android and ships on 3500mAh battery.

LG K50

The smartphone sports a sports 6.26-inch HD+ FullVision display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and has a waterdrop notch on the top of the display. The device is powered by Octa Core processor paired with 3GB RAM, in terms of storage, the device has 64GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 2TB via micro SD card.

The device comes with dual camera setup and that is the combination of 13MP + 2MP, along with a 13MP front-facing camera. The device also supports the fingerprint scanner and it is MIL-STD 810G compliant.

It features a 5.7-inch HD+ FullVision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, the device is powered by 2.0 GHz Octa Core processor and paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also has a 32GB internal storage and can be expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD card.

The LG K40 also has a single 16MP rear camera, along with an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device also supports the fingerprint scanner and it is MIL-STD 810G compliant.
