The company plans to launch the Phone (3a) series of mobile phones on March 4, which is expected to include two models: Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. Detailed specifications for both devices have come to light, revealing their hardware configurations and likely market positioning.
According to Smartprix, the Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro are consistent across several core configurations. Both phones will feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, a 6.72-inch AMOLED screen and support a high refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition, they will have IP64-level dust and splash resistance, a 5,000-mah capacity battery, and a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
However, the two models differ in the configuration of the rear third camera, which is the first time Nothing has introduced a third camera design. The Phone (3a) will have a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, while the Phone (3a) Pro will have a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom using SONY’s Lytia LYT-600 1/1.95 inch sensor. The sensor was also previously used in the realme 13 Pro+.
In terms of body size, the Phone (3a) series is expected to remain similar to the Nothing Phone (2a). In the Indian market, the starting price of the Phone (3a) is rumored to be around 25,000 INR (current about 2094 yuan), while the starting price of the Phone (3a) Pro is expected to be 30,000 INR (current about 2,513 yuan).
As the release date approaches, more details about the Nothing Phone (3a) series are expected to come to light.
