Back in April, ZTE’s Nubia brand unveiled Red Magic 3 smartphone and in July Nubia confirmed that it will release another smartphone based on single-crystal system Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+.
Sudhanshu Ambhore, an Indian insider, posted on his Twitter page a poster confirming that the Red Magic 3S gaming smartphone will be officially announced in China on September 5, 2019, at 14:00 hours. The event will be held in Shanghai.
It is speculated that the main differences in Red Magic 3S will be the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus single-crystal system, as well as a larger capacity battery. The latest Snapdragon 855+ chipset can deliver 15% faster GPU performance and up to 2.96GHz clock speed, combining both will offer great gaming experience.
Still, we don’t have any confirmation of the rumored specs of the device. We expect the Red Magic 3S to sports an AMOLED display with 120HZ refresh rate. It is also rumored that the device will built-in cooling technology, a massive battery of 5000mAh battery, new game controls with a pressure-sensitive, in-display fingerprint scanner and 5G connectivity.
To remind, the Red Magic 3 already equipped with cooling fan technology and 90HZ OLED display. Since Red Magic 3S is an upgraded version of it, we expect some ‘Upgraded’ features. Now, we don’t have any information on global launch and pricing. We should hear more details regarding this phone specs before the launch event.
