Igeekphone News, May 6th: Li Jie, the president of OnePlus China, has previously confirmed that two large-screen gaming performance flagship phones will be released in May.
According to the preheating by @Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Ace5 Ultra series will be equipped with the brand-new Dimensity chip, exclusively compatible with the more powerful Wind Racing game core, and is expected to reach the performance ceiling of Mediatek.
In addition, this model is expected to be equipped with a 6.8-inch 1.5K+120Hz LTPS straight screen, adopt a simple camera module design (50Mp regular large sensor image), and have customizable Rubik’s Cube keys.
Last month, @Digital Chat Station revealed that the OnePlus Ace 5 “Racing Edition” will be equipped with the Mediatek Dimensity 9400E processor, feature a 6.77-inch LTPS screen, and have a dual rear camera setup of 50Mp+2Mp and a 16Mp front camera. This device features a plastic frame design, is equipped with a short-throw optical fingerprint sensor, and focuses on a large battery and a high-performance straight screen. It is estimated to have an advantage in price.
He said that the Dimensity 9400E processor adopts a custom flagship full-core architecture. “Considering the main frequency and cache, its performance will be stronger than that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3.”
Igeekphone has noticed that the OnePlus Ace 5 series of mobile phones was released in December last year. The new models in the series are respectively equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 / Ultra processors and the same SONY IMX906 main camera as the flagship models, with starting prices of 2,299 and 3,399 yuan (12GB+256GB).
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro mobile phone is the first to feature the second-generation 1.5K Oriental screen (with BOE X2 light-emitting material and Display P2’s exclusive self-developed screen chip), adopting a pure straight screen design solution.
OnePlus Ace 5 Pro flagship mobile phone is equipped with the same SONY IMX906 main camera, featuring a 50-megapixel large sensor and supporting OIS optical image stabilization. The new device supports “Live Photo” 2.0 and the same shadowless snapshot as the flagship model. It can exchange pictures with an iPhone and share dynamic photos to platforms such as Xiaohongshu, Weibo, and Tiktok.
