Technology media Smartprix published a blog post today (December 20), reporting that OnePlus plans to launch OnePlus Watch 3 in the first quarter of 2025, and shared a rendering of the smartwatch and key specifications.
In terms of appearance, the OnePlus Watch 3 continues the overall design style of the previous generation, but will add a digital crown, which will provide a more intuitive and convenient interactive experience, convenient for users to browse the menu and control interface. In terms of health monitoring, the OnePlus Watch 3 will upgrade the heart rate sensor to support electrocardiogram (ECG) function (different markets, depending on local regulatory requirements), which can more accurately monitor the user’s heart health.
In terms of connectivity, the OnePlus Watch 3 will add LTE connectivity, which can operate independently of a smartphone, allowing users to make calls and receive notifications without the need for a phone.
In terms of specifications, the OnePlus Watch 3 will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip, with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage, in addition, it is estimated that it will be equipped with a 500mAh or more capacity battery, running the latest Wear OS 5 + RTOS operating system.
