Recently, OPPO has launched its new mid-range smartphone called OPPO A7x in China. And it looks like the manufacturer will soon launch another smartphone in the near future. The smartphone will come with the name OPPO A7 and this is the successor of the OPPO A5 which they have launched some time ago.
Although there is currently no information about when OPPO will release the device, people at MySmartPrice claim that they have found the specification sheet to be used by OPPO A7.
As per the report, OPPO A7 is said to arrive with a 6.2-inch display that offers a resolution of 1520 x 720 and has a 19: 9 aspect ratio. It is unknown, whether this device will bring a waterdrop notch display or not.
Furthermore, the device also reportedly will be supported by a Snapdragon 450 processor that is paired with the Adreno 506 as a graphics processor and comes in two 3GB / 4GB RAM variants which both carry 32GB of internal storage which can also be 256GB expanded via the microSD card slot.
In the photography sector, OPPO A7 is expected to come with a dual camera arrangement behind which consists of a 13MP sensor with f / 2.2 and 2MP openings with f / 2.4 openings. As for selfies or video calls, there is already a single 16MP camera that has an f / 2.0 aperture.
Considering this is a mid-range class smartphone, there is nothing special in terms of cameras. As for other features, smartphones that are planned to run on OS Android Oreo 8.1 with ColorOS 5.2 will arrive with support for 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
When launched, OPPO A7 will be available in several color choices such as Glaze Blue and Glaring Gold. As we said, there is currently no information from the company regarding the existence of this device. But sources say if the device is likely to be launched later this month in China followed by a global launch thereafter. There is no price information, but we expect the price of the handset to fall below the 1999 yuan (about $291) mark.
