The Snapdragon 888 chipset, which we just met with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Technology Summit Digital 2020, seems to mark the year 2021. After the introduction, Oppo Vice President and Global Sales President Alen Wu made a statement and said ” Oppo Find X3 will come with the Snapdragon 888 chipset.”
However, Alen Wu announced that they are planning to launch the Find X Series in the first quarter of 2021. There have been comments for a while that the Find X3 series will not be introduced in 2021. Alen Wu, on the other hand, avoided these rumors with his statement. Oppo Find X3 seems to cause a serious earthquake in the mobile market.
Oppo’s next-generation flagship Find X3 5G will reinforce imaging, artificial intelligence, and gaming experiences. In addition to all these, the new series will push the limits on the screen and camera thanks to Oppo’s first 10-bit Absolute Color Management System, which was introduced at Oppo INNO DAY 2020. All these features make the Find X3 5G model among the highly anticipated 5G flagship smartphones.
Apparently; Oppo will come up with a more assertive Find series than ever before in 2021. The Chinese manufacturer, which has already raised the bar on the screen side, has rolled up its sleeves to be the most ambitious manufacturer on the performance side. 4 years between Find 7 and Find X does not mean that there will be 4 years between Find X2 and Find X3.
The Snapdragon 888 SoC comes as the successor to last year’s Snapdragon 865. It comes with the Snapdragon X60 5G modem and includes a sixth-generation Qualcomm AI Engine. The chipset was previously rumored as the Snapdragon 875.
In addition to Oppo, Xiaomi, Meizu, Realme, Vivo, ZTE, Asus, Black Shark, LG, Motorola, Nubia, Sharp, and other companies will release their Snapdragon 888-based smartphones. In addition, Qualcomm has confirmed its willingness to work with Honor.
