Pocophone F2 Is Designed With Water-Drop Screen and Will Got Snapdragon 855?

The famous leaker Ben Geskin, responsible for anticipating many of the novelties of the mobile universe along with other names like Ice Universe, lent his imagination to predict what could be the Pocophone F2.

Focused on low-cost, yet powerful devices, Xiaomi’s Poco sub-brand does not have the habit of prioritizing smartphone design and ends up using simpler parts in its construction. Even so, Geskin published a pretty handset rendering with a 6.39-inch screen in 19.5: 9 aspect ratio.

He still believes that the next generation of the phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 855 platform from Qualcomm and Android Pie 9.0. It would certainly be a big call, but this is unlikely since only a special version of Mi MIX 3 will bring the new chipset so far. It should initially be restricted to regular Xiaomi products in these early months of 2019.

In addition, he believes in a great screensaver for the Pocophone F2, and it is noticeable that there would be a good gain particularly on the lower edges, which could pose a challenge to the manufacturer since without an AMOLED display becomes a task much more arduous to make the panel connection. The Pocophone F1 brought an LCD screen.

Remember, we are not far from officiating a Pocophone F2. A retail network has already delivered that the brand works on its next generation, although the announcement date is still unknown. Xiaomi is expected to make an important announcement tomorrow but gave no clues as to what to expect. A new smartphone?
