Redmi has become one of the most appreciated brands by Xiaomi fans and the Extreme Edition of Redmi K20 Pro will be presented on September 19 in China and will bring internal updates, including the Snapdragon 855+ chipset. When the K20 Pro was launched, it was one of the most successful for its price with the Snapdragon 855 chipset in the budget segment.
A few months later, this is no longer the case. Xiaomi wants to remedy this by bringing these new advances to its flagship product with the Redmi K20 Pro Extreme Edition.
The most notable change refers to the chipset that powers the phone because the Redmi K20 Pro Extreme Edition will house the Snapdragon 855+ chipset, which also has a clock speed of 2.84 to 2.96 GHz 15% improvement in graphics performance with Adreno 640 GPU
Not only that, RAM and storage also get an increase of up to 12GB and 512GB in the highest variant, which puts it face to face with the best flagships. The battery has a nominal capacity of 4000mAh and supports fast charging of 27W via USB Type-C.
The other specifications are quite similar to those of a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The screen does not have a notch or hole, the front camera is housed in an emerging mechanism.
In the case of cameras, the Redmi K20 Pro Extreme Editon has a triple rear configuration consisting of a 48MP main unit with f / 1.7 aperture, 13MP width and a 2x 8MP telephoto lens. The front camera is a 20MP shooting game.
The advances published in Weibo also confirm the Chinese price of the K20 Pro Extreme Edition. The basic variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be priced at 2699 yuan (approximately $380), the 8GB + 512GB will be priced at 2999 yuan (about $422) and the highest variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will cost 3999 yuan ($563). The availability of Indians is not known at this time.
