Redmi has already released a barrage of new phones, from the Redmi Note 9 series, but it has not finished with its debuts. He is now working on a phone codenamed Redmi M2004J7AC, which we know will have 5G support and a design similar to the Redmi Note 9. We have details below.
The name of this Redmi smartphone is still a mystery, but the same number recently appeared in the 3C database which revealed that it would be a 5G phone with support for 22.5W fast chargers. While the TENAA list gives us a lot of information regarding the specifications and also the design that this smartphone will carry.
Based on the TENAA list, this Redmi 5G phone has an OLED screen measuring 6.57 inches offering Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and is likely to be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Images shared by TENAA show that this smartphone will pack a water droplet design with a small indentation on it to hold a 16MP selfie camera. While on the back, we can see a square-shaped camera module that will house three cameras, one of which is a 48MP main camera accompanied by an LED flash inside.
As for the kitchen runway, the Redmi 5G phone will rely on an octa-core processor with a 2.6GHz clock whose identity is unknown. But reportedly it could become Mediatek’s 800+ Dimensity chipset which is an overclocked version of Dimensity 800.
To help the processor work more optimally, there will be a choice of RAM between 4GB, 6GB or 8GB along with 64GB, 128GB of internal storage and the highest version has 256GB which can still be expanded via a microSD card slot.
Meanwhile, to make it light up, a smartphone that will run on Android OS 10 with dimensions of 164.15 x 75.75 x 8.99mm and weighs around 208 grams will be powered by a 4420mAh battery capacity. As mentioned, the name of Redmi’s smartphone is still unknown. But we heard about Redmi-powered Dimensity 800+ phones a while ago.
According to reports, the 5G Smartphone from Redmi can come out with an affordable price tag in the market. Hopefully, another leak will come up soon to give us more information.
