The Samsung may launch Galaxy Note 20 Series smartphones and also the supposed Galaxy Fold 2, a virtual event on 5 August. The information comes from a compilation of rumors brought by the trusted website XDA Developers.
According to the publication, the launch of the devices will occur virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic. While many countries have already managed to control the disease, a major event can serve as a diffuser for the virus that causes COVID-19.
The date for the event was speculated based on the brand’s previous launches. Samsung usually announces its smartphones in early August to gain a market advantage over competing brands such as Apple.
Reportedly, Galaxy Note 20 and Fold 2 have been revealed many times in the leaks and rumors recently. We already know quite a lot of specifications of these phones. Even leaker @OnLeak shared 360-degree render videos of the Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Fold 2. However, it seems that the design of the next-generation Samsung Galaxy Fold seems to be incomplete.
In terms of configuration, previous reports said the Galaxy Note 20 will feature a 6.42-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display, supporting 2,345 x 1,084 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The back of this phone will have a pretty large rectangular camera cluster in the top left corner similar to the S20 Ultra.
This camera system is expected to include a 108MP main sensor + a 13MP prospective zoom lens + a 12MP camera for super wide-angle shooting. In addition, the recent Galaxy Note 20 has also been confirmed to come with a 4000mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Fold 2 will have a 7.59-inch internal screen with a resolution of 2213 x 1689 pixels, supporting 120Hz and UTG refresh rates. The phone is also said to have support for the S Pen and the secondary screen is 6.32 inches.
It should be noted that some of the specifications circulating are still just rumors, there has been no confirmation from Samsung. However, leaked specifications also sometimes do not miss.
